Goal: win by moving any piece into the opponent's den (the crown square), or by capturing every enemy piece.
Moving: Blue moves first. Click one of your pieces, then click a highlighted square β green dot = move, red ring = capture. Pieces move one square up, down, left, or right (never diagonally).
Ranks (strong β weak): Elephant, Lion, Tiger, Leopard, Wolf, Dog, Cat, Rat. You may capture an enemy piece of equal or lower rank on the square you move to β with one twist: the Rat may capture the Elephant, but the Elephant can never capture the Rat.
Also: a player with no legal move loses; 50 moves by each side without a capture is a draw. In-game buttons: Undo, Flip board (view only), Mute, Menu.
